Hello! I need some help and I figured I'd ask you: what does "headcanon" mean?

basically an aspect of a film/show/character that isn’t canon (ie hasn’t happened in the universe) but a fandom or fangirl/boy believes.

for example: it’s my personal headcanon that Thor and Loki used to cut each other’s hair.
