movie verse Jane? I have varying thoughts. from a shipper’s point of view I’m like, hey, get outta my ship woman. but I really do like Jane as a character. she’s smart, albeit slightly awkward, she’s funny, she’s driven. Girl has got spunk. some people think she’s a useless character and I just don’t see that? 

when they stick Jane with Thor, that’s when I start to go “ehh” a bit. their romance just didn’t do it for me, I guess. they seemed too awkward together and there was that whole, “I spent a few days here and now I have changed my whole perspective on life hawrhsgjkla” that I didn’t buy at all. Jane is a cool lady but she ain’t shitting rubies so I was kind of like, well all right then. granted, they only had like two hours to move the plot along, yadda yadda, but I don’t think they totally flushed Jane’s character out. she saw Thor as a means to an end first - the wormhole. and then he got all muddy in the rain and cried man tears and suddenly she was like “omigawd” which didn’t blow my sails. to be honest I was kind of shipping her and Darcy aslgjsladkfja but yeah, this is just my opinion, mind you, but I saw Thor and Sif getting together more in that film than I did Thor and Jane.
